Dorset Equine Spring Health Check

Are you and your horse suffering from the winter blues?  It may be time to take advantage of our new spring offer to ensure that your horse or pony is fit and healthy for the coming season.

Our Spring Health Check includes:

• 20% discount on your annual influenza and tetanus vaccinations
• Examination and rasping of the teeth ( if required)
• Faecal sample analysis for faecal worm egg count to monitor for intestinal parasites and the efficiency of your pasture management and de-worming programme.
• Examination of your horse’s heart and lungs at rest
• Examination of your horse’s eyes
• Review of your horse’s general bodily condition and opportunity to discuss your horse’s management and feeding
• Opportunity to discuss any health concerns you may have  about your horse with the vet

Our Spring Health Check will be running throughout March and the cost will be £95.00 (inc VAT) + standard visit fee, which represents a saving of over £40.00.  If your horse does not require any sedation for the teeth rasp then the cost will be £80.00 (inc VAT)  + standard visit fee.

If you wish to save the cost of the visit fee then we would be more than happy for one of our vets to perform the check at our Whitcombe Practice.  Or why not get together with friends at your yard and share the visit cost?
